Keith Johnson, 31, was taken into custody and the sheriff’s office said he had a weapons related warrant, according to Sheriff Rob Streck.
Johnson faces multiple charges including resisting arrest, assaulting a peace officer, weapons complaints, and evidence tampering.
The incident started earlier Tuesday after U.S. Marshals attempted to locate and arrest Johnson, Streck told News Center 7’s Mike Campbell.

Marshals entered an apartment but he ran from them and barricaded himself inside an apartment in the 4000 block of Fair Oaks Road, prompting a request for SWAT to respond, Streck said.
Several crews wearing armor arrived on the scene as other officers continued to use a bull horn, giving commands for Johnson to come out and surrender.
At least eight tear gas canisters were fired into the apartment around 11:10 a.m. which led to the Johnson surrendering.
Surrounding apartments were evacuated during the standoff and both directions of Fair Oaks Road were blocked.
No injuries have been initially reported.
Johnson’s next court date is scheduled for today, online records show.
