1 injured after rollover crash in Trotwood

UPDATE @ 9:55 a.m.:One person was taken to an area hospital after a rollover crash on Olive Road in Trotwood Tuesday morning.

The vehicle went off the side of the road, crashed into a mailbox, and rolled, according to officials at the scene.

The driver, who was the only person in the car, was briefly trapped in the car after the crash, according to initial reports.

The driver was transported to a hospital for treatment, however their condition wasn’t available.

Additional details were not available.

FIRST REPORT

At least one person is reportedly trapped in a vehicle following a rollover crash on Olive Road in Trotwood.

Emergency crews were dispatched to Olive Road, between U.S. 35 and Hoover Avenue around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday after the crash was reported.

Initial reports indicate the vehicle is on its top and in a ditch. One person is still trapped in the vehicle and will need to be extracted by fire crews, according to scanner traffic.

The condition of the victim was not immediately known.
