Second shooting reported after deadly shooting nearby in Dayton

Two shootings, one of which turned fatal, happened within hours of each other Monday night in the same area of Dayton.

Police first responded to the 5100 block of Northcrest Drive around 5:45 p.m. Monday. One person died as a result of the shooting.

Just after midnight, police responded to the 5100 block of Northcrest Drive on another shooting report.

No details were available from the second shooting.
