Fire ravages home in Darke County family for more than 120 years

Flames ravaged a family home, handed down from generation to generation for more than 120 years.

The fire was reported around 7:15 p.m. Sunday in the 2400 block of Wagner Road near Coletown, west of Greenville, according to Darke County dispatch records.

Multiple fire departments responded to the scene, including Union City, Greenville, Liberty Township, New Madison, Ansonia, Versailles and Ward Township.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
