Springfield shooting suspect flees scene on foot, police say

One male was shot in the ankle and transported to Springfield Regional Medical Center, Hall said.

The shooting reportedly occurred outside of a home in the 400 block of West Liberty Street.

We are hearing reports of a male shot in Springfield, according to scanner traffic.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the 400 block of West Liberty Street Sunday around 8:45 a.m.
