SICSA Pet Adoption Center has taken over ownership of Pet Wants Dayton, the first franchise nationally to be owned by a non-profit organization.

“Now that SICSA owns Pet Wants Dayton, proceeds from the purchase of our food and products support SICSA and our animals directly,” SICSA President and CEO Nora Vondrell said. “By supporting Pet Wants Dayton, you are not only saying yes to quality nutrition for your pets, but also to SICSA’s mission which promotes the welfare and adoption of companion pets.”

Pet Wants will continue to have a booth at the Second Street Market, but will focus mainly on providing free, personal delivery to clients in the Miami Valley. They’ll also soon be selling their products, such as natural dog and cat food, from the Adoption Center, 2600 Wilmington Pike in Kettering.
