SUV smashes through glass front doors of UDF in Xenia, shuts store, police say

UPDATE @ 7:14 p.m.: The UDF store on West Second Street in Xenia will be closed because of the damage done when the SUV smashed through the glass front doors of the business, police said via social media.

Xenia police and fire were dispatched on the report of a car into the building, police said.

No one was injured, police said.

No word on how long the store will be shut down. A manager there declined comment.

An SUV broke through the glass front doors of a United Dairy Farmers store in Xenia on Monday afternoon.

We're not hearing that anyone was injured in the accident reported about 4:45 p.m. on Memorial Day, but police were dispatched on the incident.

A viewer snapped a photo and said "we were driving past and heard a loud crash, looked over and saw the vehicle inside the store!"

The viewer said everything appeared fine.

A manager at the store, 340 W. Second St., said she was not allowed to speak with media.
