Winter, the new pastor of Heritage Fellowship Church in Springfield, said a casting agent contact him to be on the show because he had once appeared on "American Ninja Warrior" and tried out for a reality show.
The casting agent asked if he had a buddy he’d want to appear with on Candy Crush.
Winter immediately thought of his pal Wicker.

“We are used to doing crazy, stupid stuff,” the 38-year-old father of three said. “We jumped on the opportunity.”
Wicker recently moved back to Cedarville after a stint at a Hilton Head, N.C. church to launch Outlaw Ministries, a Christian based nonprofit he hopes to start October.

The pals, the Pastors on the show, are use to teamwork.
They plan to launch a podcast called “Notorious Saints,” and do Crossfit, Navy Seals and other workouts together regularly.
"You want to do what you love and with the people you love," Winter said. "One of the things Evan and I are interested in is sharing God's grace and love."
The men met when Winter, a Aurora, Colo. native and 2009 Cedarville University graduate, was a youth pastor at Dayton Avenue Baptist Church in Xenia. Wicker took an internship at the church.
They’ve been friends since.
Wicker, a 2008 Cedarville graduate from Naples, Fla, said the game was a workout.
The live action game hosted by actor Mario Lopez is based on the mobile game of the same name.
“It is very phyiscal,” Wicker said, noting the show is shot in the same studio where a “Mission Impossible” movie was filmed. There are even hanging harrasses.
The 31-year-old hinted that he got a lot of exercise in on the show.
“It is so much fun,” Wicker said.
