The board will discuss its direction more at its monthly meeting July 22 and tentatively agreed to hold two meetings needed before Aug. 7 to place a bond issue on the fall ballot. A proposal similar to one defeated by 200 votes in May will be submitted, seeking money to renovate and build an addition for students through grade five at the L.T. Ball school off North Hyatt Street.
The board agreed it was not interested in proposed building configurations the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission said would be required for the district to qualify for any state funding.

"I am of the opinion we can throw both of these away," long-time board member Sam Spano said of the OFCC provided options.
