Top 3 events during the Champaign County Fair today

The temperature outside may be hot, but the action at the Champaign County fair is hotter. Here are the Top 3 events going on tonight at the fair.

• 5 p.m.: King of the Ring Show. Participants show off non-Grand Champion animals for a chance to win the title of "King of the Ring." (Woodruff Show Arena)

• 6 p.m.: Open Class Horse Contest Classes. Horses from all different classes will compete in front of the Champaign County fair audience.

•8 p.m.: Renegades Equestrian Rodeo Drill Team. Come watch this talented and award-winning group of cowgirls demonstrated their unique routines. (Horse Arena)
