The event is open to all survivors living in the 11 federally declared disaster counties resulting from the May 27-29 storms. No appointment is required.
The VA event will not include all services offered to survivors at the three area disaster recovery centers, including those by the Small Business Administration, state insurance and Ohio Emergency Management Agency and other local voluntary organizations.

Additionally, FEMA will assist survivors understand the appeals process if a claim has been previously denied. Two American Sign Language staff will be present to assist those in need.
Eligibility for grant or loan assistance is determined on a case-by-case basis.
FEMA encourages survivors to first register online or by telephone.

New hours for FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers
FEMA’s area Disaster Recovery Centers now are open 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and closed Sundays.
