Tornado recovery: Dayton VA to host FEMA registration event

A Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) disaster registration center will be open today at the Dayton VA Medical Center for survivors of Memorial Day tornadoes to sign up for federal assistance or ask questions about current claims.

FEMA will be at the center located in Building 305 today, beginning at 2 p.m. through Friday. Hours of operation Thursday and Friday are from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., according to a FEMA spokesman.
