Weeks after a tornado tore through Trotwood leaving behind significant damage, cleanup continues and some roads are closed.

City officials said Basore and Shiloh Springs roads will remain closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today for debris removal.  Detours will be set up to assist drivers getting around the closures.

The city also has entered what it is calling “Phase 2” cleanup, where shuttles will run from Trotwood High School, 4440 North Union Road to the affected areas. The shuttles will run daily through Saturday, June 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The city expects to do “Phase 3” cleanup in the fall and will notify residents when those plans are in place.
