Trotwood residents and visitors in need of police assistance should call the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center, using 9-1-1, until further notice.

Damage from the Memorial Day evening tornadoes and storms knocked out telephone and internet service in the city’s administration building, public works and public safety departments as well as across the region.

Thursday, telephone and internet service technicians from Spectrum have been in the process of correcting the problems.

As of Thursday evening, Trotwood police Sgt. Brent Rasor said, city officials are unsure when telephone and internet services will be restored.

The public will be notified once services have been restored.
