The girls were taken to Wayne Health while officers worked to determine where the girls lived.
Police eventually were able to locate their home. Their mother, identified as Kylee Holbrook, told police she thought a friend was watching her daughters while she dropped her son off at school.
Holbrook was charged child endangering. Her daughters were later released to her.
