On Feb. 20 the union filed a notice of their intent to strike starting March 2 at 6 a.m.

Union representative Alan Weeks said a tentative agreement has been reached. Vandalia City Manager Jon Crusey will present the agreement to city council tonight at the regularly scheduled meeting.
