Pickup crashes into a building on Harshman Road in Riverside

UPDATE @ 2:30 p.m.:

According to the Riverside Police Department a medical condition likely caused a woman in her mid-30s to crash into a building on Harshman road. Police say the woman sustained non-life threatening injuries and she was the only person injured as a result of the crash. She reportedly traveled through two fences and a yard before crashing into the building.  Police say she will be charged with failure to control.

UPDATE @ 12:35 p.m.:

A white pickup truck crash into the Sikh Society of Dayton on Harshman Road.

Fire crews and police were on the scene investigating and we’re working to learn if the driver of the vehicle was injured.

A building inspector has been called to the scene as well.

We’re also working to learn what caused the crash to happen.

INITIAL REPORT:

A crash reported to involve a vehicle striking a church on Harshman Road this afternoon, according to initial reports.

Fire and police crews were sent to the church, 2320 Harshman Road, around 12:15 p.m.

We’re working to learn if anyone is injured.
