95-year-old man injured during crash in Darke County

A 95-year-old man was injured during a crash Monday afternoon around 4:25 p.m. in the area of state Route 49 and Arcanum Bears Mill Road, according to the Darke County Sheriff's Office.

A 2015 tan Ford Fusion, driven by John Byron Davis, of Arcanum was traveling southeast on SR 49 near Arcanum Bears Mill Road when he lost control, traveled off the left side of the road, and struck two parked cars. He then traveled off the right side of the road and came to rest in a ditch.

Davis was treated and released at the scene by Arcanum Rescue.

This accident remains under investigation.
