"He's very fortunate," Costantino told WJW-TV. "If it wasn't for the worker who was able to find him, the end result certainly could have been tragic."
Muskiewicz told police he was on the phone at about 2 a.m. Friday with his ex-wife while walking along a road above the cliff. He said she had agreed to meet him near the golf course at the bottom of the cliff, which officials said ranged from 30 to 100 feet high. He lost his footing heading to the golf course, Muskiewicz told detectives.
Alcohol or drugs likely factored into the fall, Costantino told WJW-TV. Muskiewicz was treated at a Cleveland hospital.
