Man seriously hurt at West Chester manufacturing company

A 30-year-old man was trapped in a machine at Reading Rock, Inc. in West Chester Twp. this morning.

The call came in at around 7:30 a.m. reporting that the man “not conscious and not breathing” at the company on Devitt Drive, according to township spokeswoman Barb Wilson.

She said she did not know his condition when he was transported to West Chester Hospital.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is on the scene.
