Investigators said a Houston school bus stopped to let a student off when a Plymouth Voyager came to a stop behind the bus. They said a Chevrolet Caprice then slammed into the back of the Voyager, causing the van to rear-end the bus.
Medics took six people from two vehicles to Wilson Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. They said five students on the bus were taken to Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy with minor injuries.
Authorities said a second non-injury accident with four vehicles occurred seconds later after the first accident. Investigators said the drivers were trying to stop for the bus accident.
The accident remains under investigation.
