2020 Golden Globes: ‘Parasite,’ Phoebe Waller-Bridge take home awards

An acclaimed foreign film and a celebrated newcomer were some of the recipients at the 77th Golden Globe Awards Sunday in Hollywood.

Korean film “Parasite,” one of the year’s most acclaimed and a strong candidate for best film at the Oscars, won the Golden Globe award for best foreign language film. It was ineligible to compete in the best picture categories at the Golden Globes.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who won Emmys in September 2019 for her show “Fleabag,” was honored as best actress in a TV comedy for her role.
