2020 Golden Globes: ‘Parasite,’ Phoebe Waller-Bridge take home awards

An acclaimed foreign film and a celebrated newcomer were some of the recipients at the 77th Golden Globe Awards Sunday in Hollywood.

Korean film “Parasite,” one of the year’s most acclaimed and a strong candidate for best film at the Oscars, won the Golden Globe award for best foreign language film. It was ineligible to compete in the best picture categories at the Golden Globes.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who won Emmys in September 2019 for her show “Fleabag,” was honored as best actress in a TV comedy for her role.

Russell Crowe - Best performance by an actor in a limited series or motion picture made for television, “The Loudest Voice.”

Stellan Skarsgård - Best performance by an actor in a supporting role in a series, limited series or motion picture made for television, “Chernobyl."

“Succession” - Best television show, drama.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge - Best performance by an actress in a television series, musical or comedy, “Fleabag.”

“Parasite” - Best motion picture, foreign language.

Ellen DeGeneres - Carol Burnett Award.

Brian Cox - Best performance by an actor in a television series, drama, “Succession.”

Quentin Tarantino - Best screenplay, motion picture, “Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood.”

“Missing Link” - Best motion picture, animated.

Laura Dern - Best performance by an actress in a supporting role in any motion picture, “Marriage Story.”

“Fleabag” - Best television series, musical or comedy.

Elton John and Bernie Taupin, “I’m Gonna Love Me Again” - Best original song, motion picture, “Rocketman.”

Patricia Arquette - Best performance by an actress in a supporting role in a series, limited series or motion picture made for television, “The Act.”

Olivia Colman - Best performance by an actress in a television series, drama, “The Crown.”

Tom Hanks - Cecil B. deMille Award.

Sam Mendes - Best director, motion picture, “1917.”

Michelle Williams - Best performance by an actress in a limited series or a motion picture made for television, “Fosse/Verdon.”

Chernobyl - Best television limited series or motion picture made for television.

Brad Pitt - Best performance by an actor in a supporting role in any motion picture, “Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood.”

Hildur Guðnadóttir - Best original score, motion picture, “Joker.”

“1917” - Best motion picture, drama.

Renée Zellweger - Best performance by an actress in a motion picture - Drama - “Judy.”

Joaquin Phoenix - Best performance by an actor in a motion picture, drama, “Joker.”

“Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood” - Best motion picture, musical or comedy.

Taron Egerton - Best performance by an actor in a motion picture, musical or comedy, “Rocketman.”
