Alabama woman accused of possessing more than 2 pounds of meth

An Alabama woman is accused of possessing more than 2 pounds of methamphetamine, authorities said.

Berenice Suaste Robledo, 31, of Cullman, was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine, according to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office. Her bond was set at $150,000.

According to deputies, Robledo was arrested after a traffic stop Feb. 24 in Morgan County, the television station reported.

Deputies, using a K-9, found illegal narcotics in the Dodge Charger Robledo was driving, and more than 2 pounds of meth was found in a box in the car's trunk, WAAY reported.

Agents with the Morgan County Drug Enforcement Agency was notified, and Robledo was arrested, WHNT reported.
