Television legend, and "Jeopardy!" host, Alex Trebek is undergoing more chemotherapy.

Trebek was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer earlier this year.

"I was doing so well. And my numbers went down to the equivalent of a normal human being who does not have pancreatic cancer. So we were all very optimistic. And they said, 'Good, we're gonna stop chemo, we'll start on immunotherapy,'" Trebek explained on "GMA." "I lost about 12 pounds in a week. And my numbers went sky high, much higher than they were when I was first diagnosed. So, the doctors have decided that I have to undergo chemo again and that's what I'm doing."

Trebek has said his cancer has made him feel "excruciating pain" sometimes, other times he has "fatigue," he said during the interview.

He also battled depression after the diagnosis saying that he feels a "surge of sadness."

Trebek filmed season 35 of "Jeopardy!" after receiving the cancer diagnosis. Season 36 began airing earlier this month with Trebek still behind the podium giving the questions to answers listed on the "Jeopardy!" board, USA Today reported.
