Amazon is hiring again to respond to the demand that the COVID-19 pandemic has placed on the online retailer.

This time, the company is planning to add another 75,000 employees, in addition to the 100,000 jobs it created in March, CNBC reported.

The company said the new positions are to help fulfill the orders that are coming in as people are home during the pandemic.

The jobs are for distribution centers and delivery drivers, The Wall Street Journal reported.

In addition, the pay that the company's hourly workers get is also going up another $2 an hour through the end of April, Market Watch reported.

The company is focusing on “high-priority” items like household staples and medical supplies. It is also boosting capacity for Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market grocery delivery.
