After spending around 11 months on the International Space Station, NASA astronaut Christina Koch received a very enthusiastic welcome home from one resident of her home: her dog, LBD (short for “Little Brown Dog”).
The video of Koch’s reunion was posted to her twitter page Thursday.
Koch returned from her space mission the morning of Feb. 6, and had to spend some time getting used to gravity and regaining her sense of balance.
Although this video was posted yesterday, a week after her landing, Koch told reporters this week that she had already visited the beach with her husband and dog just three days after touching down in Kazakhstan.
NASA tweeted a reply seconded by many.
