Body of missing 58-year-old grandfather with dementia found, family says

The Henry County Fire Department dive team was called to a reservoir after receiving calls about a body spotted in the water.

A missing grandfather with dementia has been found dead after nearly two weeks of searching, according to family members.

Timothy Osborne, 58, walked out of his Locust Grove home on Feb. 5 and hadn't been seen since.

His wife Kelly Osborne shared a statement on Facebook:

"I have lost my best friend,soul mate, husband and heart walking outside of my body today. Thank you to everyone for the prayers, searching and support through this nightmare. Please keep my family in your prayers while we try to figure out how to go through life without Tim. I love him with every breath in my body. I’ll miss him until my last breath..."

Henry County, Georgia, resident Timothy Osbornehas been missing since Feb. 5. Authorities found a body Monday in a county reservoir.

Police said they received calls around noon that a body could be seen in the Henry County reservoir.

Osborne suffered from early onset dementia. He was in hospice care when he disappeared.
