The producer and songwriter notably worked on Rascal Flatts' 2009 single "Summer Nights," Pink's 2013 single "Try," "H.O.L.Y." by Florida Georgia Line and Morris' 2016 debut single, "My Church." He also wrote the album cut "Every Goodbye" on Blake Shelton's 2016 album "If I'm Honest."
Rolling Stone reported Shelton posted about Busbee's death on Twitter.
I absolutely can’t accept the loss of mine and Gwen’s friend Michael (Busbee)..Too much to say for social media. Too much pain and unfairness period. I guess sometimes you gotta dig extra EXTRA deep for peace to continue to have faith. And I will because Michael ALWAYS had faith.
