Officials did not release the names of the farms where the outbreaks were discovered, according to the Advocate.
"We will continue to work with them to prevent further spread of this illness and to ensure workers understand where and when to be tested," Health Department spokeswoman Aly Neel told the Advocate.
As of Tuesday morning, Louisiana had reported at least 34,709 coronavirus cases and 2,563 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University.
