Each person's remains were in a body bag and were tagged with identification, CNN reported.
Thirteen of the 17 remains were moved to a refrigerated trailer at Newton Medical Center, according to CNN.
There have been 68 deaths recently linked to Andover Subacute and Rehabilitation Center I and II, including two nurses, CNN reported. Twenty-six of the deceased had tested positive for coronavirus, the Times reported. The cause of death for the rest was not reported.
In the two buildings that make up the nursing home, there have been 76 patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 and 41 staff members who have coronavirus, the Times reported.
