Coronavirus: Kevin Durant, 3 other Brooklyn Nets players test positive for virus

NBA star Kevin Durant is one of four members of the Brooklyn Nets to test positive for coronavirus, he said in an interview Tuesday.

According to the Athletic, Durant confirmed the news after the Nets said in a news release that four players, whose names were not released, have the virus.

"Everyone, be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine," Durant, who said he hasn't noticed any symptoms, told the outlet. "We're going to get through this."

In the news release, the Nets said only one of the players "is exhibiting symptoms."

"The organization is currently notifying anyone who has had known contact with the players, including recent opponents, and is working closely with state and local health authorities on reporting," the news release said. "All players and members of the Nets travel party are being asked to remain isolated, closely monitor their health and maintain constant communication with team medical staff."

The team added that it is “doing everything within its power to ensure that those affected receive the best care possible.”
