We’re proud to help the first responders and healthcare workers who help all of us. Every Sunday from 8-10 a.m. we’ll offer special hero hours nationally to help your community’s heroes do what they do best – keep you safe. pic.twitter.com/lhTB76PbzY

"We're proud to help the first responders and healthcare workers who help all of us," Sam's Club wrote on its Twitter account. The hours are being offered "to help your community's heroes do what they do best – keep you safe."
No membership will be required to enter the store, and the health care workers and first responders will be provided masks, Sam’s Club said. Social distancing also will be practiced.
The Hero Hours will be implemented nationally.
The actions by Sam’s Club come nearly a week after rival warehouse retailer Costco announced a protocol that allowed police officers, emergency medical technicians, firefighters, doctors and nurses to skip to the front of lines.
