Lenise Knight’s 14-year-old Australian Cattle Dog was reportedly attacked by her neighbor’s pit bull and boxer Friday. Her dog, Henry, suffered serious injuries to his neck, and his ear was nearly torn off, Knight said Tuesday. Henry is back home with his owner but struggles to walk, and is in pain. The Montgomery County Animal Resource Center did not remove the pit bull because the attack was not on a person and this was the first incident, officials said.
