Driver miraculously survives crash with logging truck in northwest Georgia county

It was nothing short of a miracle that a driver survived a crash with a log truck in a northwest Georgia county.

The crash happened Oct. 11 in Whitfield County on Cleveland Highway in Cohutta, WSB-TV reported.

The Whitfield County Fire Department shared photos of the crash on its Facebook page. In the photos, the Nissan Xterra is shown embedded into the rear of the truck that was hauling dozens of logs.

Several of the logs went crashing through the front windshield and back through the length of the SUV.

Fire department officials said the driver suffered only minor injuries, WSB reported.

The post has been shared more than 19,000 times and has thousands of comments.
