Fans pan Nicki Minaj wax figure at Madame Tussauds

Madame Tussauds wax museum in Berlin invited patrons to check it out. And so far, the verdict on the new Nicki Minaj figure has not melted any hearts.

The Minaj display at the museum features the rapper in a pose from her "Anaconda" music video. Fans have no problem with the jungle-like setting or Minaj's outfit -- a black thong and gold-chained bra -- but are quibbling with her facial features, People reported.

One Twitter user wrote, "Madame Tussaud's Germany is trying to convince the world this is Nicki Minaj Lol."

Another Twitter user wrote, "The Madame Tussaud's wax figure of Nicki Minaj looks more like Amy from Waterloo road, try and change my mind."

"Sis don't look like that," another social media poster wrote.

The museum and a representative for Minaj did not immediately respond to a request for comment, People reported.

A Las Vegas figure of Minaj, 37, at the Madame Tussauds location also had some critical comments, People reported. The Vegas figure also had Minaj in the same pose, the magazine reported.

It is also not the first time wax figures at Madame Tussauds have been panned by fans. In May, the wax figure of Ariana Grande was harshly criticized, CNN reported.
