"The City declines to comment on specific personnel matters, however, all reports of employee misconduct are investigated, and appropriate training and/or disciplinary action is taken," a city spokesperson told KOVR.
Employees use a badge or a code to access fuel at the seven different pump locations throughout the city.
Fleet management was told when employees stopped working with the city, but the department didn't remove employee access, KOVR reported. The department said it will now remove access to the pumps once an employee no longer works for the city.
