Antonie Leiris' wife, Helene, was killed in the attack on the Bataclan in Paris Friday night.
The two have a 17-month-old son together.
He posted a message on Facebook, directed toward the terrorists who took her life. The post has been shared thousands of times.
A video shared by the BBC shows Leiris staring into a camera lens and his post is read aloud. Images of his wife appear in the video as well.
“I won’t give you the gift of hating you,” Antoine wrote to the attackers.
