NFL player and former Clemson standout Bashaud Breeland is facing multiple charges after he was arrested in South Carolina, authorities said Tuesday.

According to The Associated Press and ESPN, the York County Sheriff's Office charged Breeland, a 28-year-old cornerback for the Kansas City Chiefs, with possession of marijuana or hash, driving with an open container of beer or wine, resisting arrest and driving without a license.

Authorities hadn't set a bond amount for the Allendale native, who now lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, the news outlets reported.

Breeland played for Clemson University from 2011 to 2013 before the Washington Redskins selected him in the 2014 NFL Draft. He later played for the Green Bay Packers before signing with the Chiefs, according to the AP.
