According to Louisville Metro Police Department officials, Rucker took property from 11 clients and/or used their debit, credit or EBT cards without their knowledge and consent, WDRB reported.
Police said the thefts occurred for two months beginning in June 2019, according to an arrest report.
According to the report, Rucker sold several pieces of jewelry to two pawn shops in Jefferson County, WLKY reported. Investigators found 12 pawn tickets in Rucker's name, which were issued during her time as a caregiver, the television station reported.
According to the arrest report, Rucker admitted using the cards to make unauthorized purchases or withdrawals from the victims' bank accounts, WDRB reported.
Rucker was charged with five counts of knowingly exploiting adults for more than $300, and six counts of knowingly exploiting adults for $300 or less, WDRB reported. She will appear in court Jan. 28, the television station reported.
