The parents announced the news in separate Instagram posts with the same family photo Wednesday.
"Family of 5! Welcome @mavericknphelps to the world! Born 9-9-19," the 34-year-old athlete wrote. Mama and baby are healthy and the boys are pumped to be big bros! #housefullofboys."
"We welcomed Maverick Nicolas Phelps into the world on 9/9/19 at 36 weeks and 2 days," Johnson captioned her post. "Our lil big man was 6lb 5o and 20". He instantly has stolen all of our hearts and keeps me an ecstatic mommy of boys 💙💙💙 I can't wait to walk this journey surrounded by my men. #familyof5"
Just like his big brothers, Maverick already has a dedicated Instagram page. Oldest brother Boomer's page included a post about Maverick's arrival.
"Big brother x 2!!" the caption of the image showing 3-year-old Boomer cradling his brother read. "I’m so excited to have my new baby bro!!"
Middle child Beckett also got a photo with his baby brother.
"I'm officially a Big Brother and I won't let go!!" a post on the 1-year-old's Instagram page said.
Johnson and Phelps married in a small ceremony in Tempe, Arizona, on June 13, 2016 and later had a larger ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on Oct. 29, 2016.
