The woman was driving in Traverse City on Sunday evening when she swerved to avoid hitting the animal, WPBN reported.
Police said the woman hit a parked car before flipping her vehicle, the television station reported.
A witness who heard the crash helped the woman out of the car, WPBN reported. She was evaluated by the Traverse City Fire Department and suffered only minor scrapes and bruises, the television station reported. The woman refused to be taken to the hospital.
Police issued the woman a citation for driving without due care and caution, WPBN reported.
