According to WNBC-TV, the deadly shooting occurred about 11 p.m. near a Brownsville park as residents attended an Old Timers' Day party. One victim, a 38-year-old man, died from a gunshot wound to the head, New York police said.
NYPD Commissioner James O'Neill said six people who were taken to the hospital for treatment were released by Sunday afternoon, The Associated Press reported.

The Associated Press reported that police are looking for two shooters who they think were involved.
