Actress Nicole Kidman and her husband, country music star Keith Urban, have pledged a half-million dollars toward relief efforts as deadly brush fires burn in Australia.

According to E! News, the A-listers shared the news Saturday evening on Instagram.

"Our family's support, thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the fires all over Australia," the posts read. "We are donating $500,000 to the Rural Fire Services who are all doing and giving so much right now."

Their announcement came hours after pop star Pink tweeted that she would be making a $500,000 donation, as well.

"I am totally devastated watching what is happening in Australia right now with the horrific bushfires," her tweet read. "I am pledging a donation of $500,000 directly to the local fire services that are battling so hard on the frontlines. My heart goes out to our friends and family in Oz."

Celeste Barber, an Australian comedian, also started a Facebook fundraiser that had raised more than $19 million by Sunday morning.

The fires have killed 23 people, according to The Associated Press.
