On social media, The Rolling Stones said they are feeling restless. Could the venerable rock 'n' rollers be planning a 2020 tour?

Nothing has been officially announced, but the Stones’ iconic tongue logo has been appearing outside arenas in major cities -- without comment in some cities, or with cryptic messages drawn from the band’s lyrics.

In Tampa, Florida, a large Rolling Stones banner was unfurled at Raymond James Stadium on Monday. In St. Louis, the band's lips logo with the words "miss you" have been spotted outside of the Dome at America's Center. In Charlotte, North Carolina, the lips logo -- with the words "miss you" -- appeared on the video board at Bank of America Stadium.

In western New York, billboards in the Buffalo area sport the logo with song lyrics such as "Let's spend the night together,"and "Emotional rescue," WKBW reported.

Other cities mentioned as possible venues include Atlanta; Pittsburgh; Cleveland; Detroit; Minneapolis; San Diego; Dallas; Nashville, Tennessee; and Louisville, Kentucky.

Still, there is nothing listed on the Ticketmaster website that would suggest a Rolling Stones tour. However, an announcement could come as soon as Thursday, with concert dates to fall between May and July.

The Stones held a North American tour in 2019, which was delayed after lead singer Mick Jagger underwent successful heart surgery.
