Passenger arrested after livestreaming chase

A teen driver led troopers on a high-speed chase along a Texas highway, leading to the arrest of a passenger who livestreamed the pursuit.

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers saw a vehicle speeding and tried to pull over the driver, who took off, KIII reported.

Troopers used road spikes and tactical maneuvers to stop the teen driver.

One of the passengers, Marissa Cooper, 19, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and engaging in organized criminal activity to hinder apprehension, KRIS reported.

There was also a 17-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy in the car.
