Police said the bottle was found in a boys’ jacket.
Friday, the bottle was sent to Ecolab, which confirmed the insects were bedbugs, WENY reported.
A second closed pill bottle, containing several dead bugs, was found by a Walmart employee in the men's department of the store, according to the Times-News.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, bedbugs are small, flat, parasitic insects that feed solely on the blood of people and animals while they sleep.
An investigation is ongoing, police said.
