In 2017, Flair was hospitalized for stomach pains and later placed in a medically induced coma for several days for heart-related issues. He was also admitted to the hospital earlier this year.
Flair posted a video in June thanking his doctors, nurses, friends and family, and offered special thanks to metro Atlanta rapper Offset, who FaceTimed the famed wrestler while he was laid up.
The charismatic Flair has won eight NWA World Heavyweight Championships, six WCW World Heavyweight Championships and two WWF Championships, according to WWE.
He's also been a presence in rap music, including the hit "Ric Flair Drip" from 21 Savage and Offset, in which Offset borrows Flair's signature "Woo!" exclamation.
So Flair was right at home on Post Malone’s stage at State Farm Arena.
Swae Lee, Tyla Yaweh and DJ Enice opened the show.
