A woman considered a serial stowaway for her nearly half-dozen arrests for attempts to sneak through airport security and onto planes, was arrested again Friday while she tried to board a flight at O’Hare Airport, officials said.
Marilyn Hartman, 67, a habitual stowaway who is homeless and deals with mental health issues, tried moving dividers to get around security measures Friday at the airport, officials said.
She was stopped and did not have a boarding pass or identification.
She was charged with felony criminal trespass to a registered area/airport, officials said.
Her last arrest was in January 2018 after trying to sneak onto a flight at O'Hare to London. She pleaded guilty to criminal trespassing and in March was sentenced to 18 months probation. She also agreed to stay away from Chicago's O'Hare and Midway airports.
