‘SNL’ adds Luke Combs, Justin Bieber as musical guests; J.J. Watt to host Feb. 1 show

“Saturday Night Live” will kick off February with some hard-hitting shows.

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, no stranger to hard hits, will host "SNL" on Feb. 1, the night before Super Bowl LIV, the show announced on Twitter. Pop culture icon RuPaul will host the show the following week.

Country singer Luke Combs will make his "SNL" debut on Feb. 1, while Justin Bieber will be the show's musical guest Feb. 8, Rolling Stone reported.

Combs was nominated for a Grammy Award for his performance of "Brand New Man" with Brooks & Dunn, the magazine reported. Combs' second album, "What You See Is What You Get," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and the Top Country Albums charts.

Bieber released his latest song, "Yummy," earlier this month, according to Rolling Stone. It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Watt becomes the 11th NFL player to host the show, joining stars like Joe Montana, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, KTRK reported. Watt is also the 27th athlete to host the late-night show, KPRC reported.
