A very special event was held for a Mid-South teenager at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis on Thursday night.
Cassy Colunga, 14, was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor more than one year ago. Doctors have told her family she may have less than six months to live.
As a result, family and friends came together to give the Millington teen an early prom.
"Thank you so much to everyone, all the people who have supported me," Cassy said to the crowd.
Despite her illness, Cassy has remained very upbeat.
