According to the El Campo Independent School District, school officials were tipped off last week about the recordings filmed by the woman at El Campo High School, the Houston Chronicle reported.
High school officials said no students were involved, according to KTRK.
"It was always in a classroom or office when no one else was around," El Campo police Chief Terry Stanphill told the Chronicle, adding that it appeared the substitute made sure no one could see what was taking place.
After the substitute allegedly recorded the videos, she uploaded them to a commercial pornographic website, Stanphill told KPRC.

The teacher, whose name is being withheld, was fired but no charges have been filed, Stanphill said.
"We can't find a law that she violated," Stanphill told KPRC.
District officials said the substitute had been employed for about three months, the television station reported.
In a statement posted on its website and on social media, El Campo ISD officials said the district was aware of "an improper criminal incident" involving a substitute, noting that no students or other district staff members were involved.

"The district has terminated the substitute's employment and is seeking legal advice on this specific incident," district officials wrote.
"I've been in law enforcement for 27 years, and this is the first time I have ever run into anything like this," Stanphill told the Chronicle.
